Welcome, Change.

At Odyssey Health, we’ve been helping people be mentally and functionally ready to return to work since 1981. Whether they need short-term mental health therapy, or a return-to-work program for long absences, we’ve learned that people can only fully return when they’re ready to let change in. And when they do that, it changes everything.

Ready. Mindset. Go.

Whether it’s for a short-term, mental health-based absence from work, or a long-term absence due to complex physical and psychological difficulties, our approach – uniquely focused on real-world function and return-to-work readiness – is sought after for its superior results: an unrivalled 70% success rate for complex multi-year cases, and even higher success with short-term mental health-related absences.

What’s behind our “function-first” approach?

Rather than pushing symptoms aside, we help people cope with them, become active participants in their own recovery, and reconnect with the everyday activities they miss much earlier than the norm.

Two Programs, One Evidence-Based Approach

Our proprietary programs combine (when required) psychotherapy, behavioural and physical therapies, and medical science, to help people who are off work because of emotional, psychological and physical difficulties: depression, mood and anxiety disorders, chronic pain, fibromyalgia, long Covid, substance use and many others.

Our approach reduces both the human and financial costs of prolonged suffering and absenteeism.

Accessible to Clients Everywhere

Remote locations, travel challenges and other issues aren’t issues here. We can serve customers and their clients anywhere in Canada, and engage with clients as if we were right beside them through seamless virtual treatment.

Speaking of engaging: our shared digital platform, Wayfinder, gives clients a clear picture of their progress because they’re the ones creating it. Clients log their daily activities and see their progress, becoming more engaged in their treatment, while the real-time information helps us track and adjust their plan.

Integrated “Whole Person” Care

Our “whole person” philosophy – integrating psychological, physical and vocational support through collaborative care teams – yields better outcomes. Teams can include Registered Psychotherapists, Registered Psychologists and Registered Kinesiologists; Behavioural Therapists; Vocational Specialists; our consulting physicians; and of course our clients’ personal health care providers.

Professionally Recognized

The effectiveness of Odyssey Health’s unique treatment model was profiled in a detailed study published by the renowned The American Journal of Medicine, highlighting our multidisciplinary and comprehensive approach.
